What Is a LIN PHY?
LIN (Local Interconnect Network) is a low-cost, single-wire serial communication protocol based on a Master/Slave architecture, with a maximum data rate of up to 20 kbps.

Megawin Technology officially introduces its first LIN PHY IC, the MLT1021 series, designed to provide stable and reliable signal transmission between the MCU and LIN Bus.

Integrates a TXD Dominant Timeout protection mechanism to prevent the LIN Bus from remaining in a Dominant state when the MCU malfunctions or becomes locked up with TXD held Low for an extended period. This helps reduce the risk of a single-node failure affecting communication across the entire LIN network.
