FOC Intelligent Tuning System

In the past two years, Megawin Technology has been committed to the development of Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) motor control ICs and solutions, which have been gradually launched in high-speed hair dryers, air conditioner drain pumps, low-pressure ceiling fans, and axial-flow heater fans, etc., and have been gradually introduced into mass production.

Recently, CheerGoal, a subsidiary of Megawin Technology, has also successfully developed the FOC Intelligent Tuning System, an advanced algorithm that is able to “intelligently and adaptively” calculate and adjust parameters to optimize the drive performance of motors by simply setting up the motor specifications and hardware configurations.

Efficient and easy tuning system

Customers reported that they often faced the problem of not knowing how to filter more than 20 sets of motor parameters when adjusting machines, making "machine tuning" an arduous and painful task, and the development process was also very lengthy.  Now, with this FOC intelligent tuning system, the built-in Firmware Library (Lib) has been converted into a simple 9-parameter set (including Linear Resistance, Inductance, PWM Frequency, Motor Polarity, RPM, etc.), which makes tuning easy and fast. This dramatically reduces the difficulty of development, and also saves manpower and reduces the cost of time, which is a great opportunity for end customers. For end customers, it is a great blessing and the best tool for developing BLDC motor applications!

We have tested a wide range of motors from low voltage to high voltage (24V/40V/100V/600V) and obtained good tuning results and reference guides for these high/low voltage motors for applications such as household fans, floor fans, water heater exhausts, factory/office building fans. These high and low voltage motors are used in applications such as home fans, floor fans, water heater forced drains, factory/office building fans, etc.

Megawin Technology and CheerGoal have formed an alliance and are keeping pace with the development of energy-saving and green products by immediately launching a smarter and more efficient tuning system for BLDC applications, which is expected to be a major driver for the two companies' future revenue growth in BLDC-specific ICs.
